i have a new sim that says text free10 for ten pounds free credit and its saying the offer isn’t for me

Did you get the sim from O2? If not, some are old and out of date. https://www.o2.co.uk/termsandconditions/rewards/o2-pay-and-go-10-pound-extra-credit-offer-terms-and-... 

However you need to call O2 on 4445.
