I recently bought a new phone and should have had my number and balance transferred, only the number was transferred how do I get my balance moved too?

Thanks MI5, I contacted customer service and got absolutely nowhere, in fact the guy put the phone down on me. So my balance has disappeared into the ether as they say. I am sorry I ever had anything to do with O2 they are useless.
