What's the best way to change my phone number

My daughter is with O2 PAYG and is getting a lot of harassment and bullying. What's the best way to change her number? Do I just get a new SIM?

I'd keep hold of the old sim in case they need it for anything in the future then.

@Deb46 You can also call call customer service and ask to have any credit left on the old sim transferred to the new one.

That can be done, however, it will disconnect the sim from the network, so check if the Police need the sim to remain active or not first.
