I visited the UK in March and bought a Pay as you go UK number.

I'm trying to top up using my South African credit card but am unable to do so as the 02 site insists on the card address having a UK postal card. I'm not sure why it wont accept foreign codes and foreign cards.

Anyone know how to get around this?

Regards, Simon

No way can you get round it with the foreign card @SimonC1

*You can use a voucher (If a friend in the UK can buy one for you)

* Same with a card (if they are with O2 and have a UK card registered on the system.

* Or you can use paypal to top up using this site https://www.mobiletopup.co.uk/o2

Guide How to Top Up (PAYG)

Just a word of warning though. O2 only allow their phones to be used for 63 days per annum when you are abroad. (Holiday usage) After that time they will cut you off.

It might be better if you looked for a South African sim if you are there for a long time.

@SimonC1

Use an online service or buy a voucher when in the UK.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
