Text from o2

I have just received a text, supposedly from O2 saying that I need to ring 4444 to top up my phone, I am on auto top up and never top up in a shop like it says I did last time, cannot for the life of me to contact O2 directly, even on my account, is this a scam?

I just got the same message saying I last topped up in one of the o2shops and wondered the same as you 😮

@MI5  How do we know that? Seems weird to me that suddenly and in this current climate, O2 are sending out blanket texts which are totally irrelevant?

Ok...that's all I need to know. Told someone else it was a scam. They seem to be able to generate stupid texts whilst everything else is on a damn go slow!
