Hello, so recently I got a new sim because I believe my old one is damaged, the old one won't receive any verification codes this includes steam, bank, whatsapp and many many more.
So I texted PAC and somehow I do get a text back however it says I have multiple numbers under my o2 account (which I don't) I then contacted o2 multiple times with the 202 number many of them rudely hang up on me and some just linked me to another o2 call which was dead. When I got through to someone they gave me a text which never came through, likely because the same issue I have with verification codes not being received.
If someone could please help or tell me if there's a way around this problem I would really appreciate it.
Thanks,
Adam

You don't need a PAC.
You just need to request a replacement sim either in store (with ID) or by asking O2.
We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this
Thanks

I understand this is customer forum sorry if I sounded a bit rude. Was just wondering if someone had the same problem and got it fixed.
I believe you're mentioning the SIM 'SWAP' I thought about that, but I still think I will have the same problem with receiving the code. Unless they can give me a sim with the same number. But I don't really want to sign up to anything too costly as I am thinking of moving to giffgaff or smarty.
I might just bite the bullet and use a new number, very inconvenient but oh well.
Thanks for the help though, I will try their Facebook.

You won't have a new number.
A replacement sim is just that, a replacement for what you have but hopefully working.
