How do I close PAYG account as Mum died any advice

Mum passed away so want to close her PAYG account and donate her phone to charity - any ideas on how to do this appreciated

Sorry for your loss.

If she had auto top up enabled, you need to cancel this either with O2 or in her MyO2.

Then chuck the sim away and it will deactivate after 6 months.

Factory reset the phone and you can then give it away.
