Convert pay as you go to pay monthly

My Dad has an old Nokia he wants to keep and currently uses pay as you go but would like a pay monthly tariff instead.  He will only need calls and texts, no data, and wants to keep the same phone and number. Is this possible?

@TraceyEarl I believe all Pay Monthly tariffs have data these days. See this link: Migration & porting into O2 - O2 Community

A Pay Monthly contract will probably also be subject to a credit check.
