Hi can someone advise me please. I live in the EU and have a pay as you go sim just for my mum in UK to text if something important comes up.  At the moment she is in hospital and I rang her last night, tonight she said it cost her £17 last night and it cost me £4.55. Can anyone tell me if she should be charged for accepting my calls from EU?

EU use is for occasional holiday trips etc, not full time, so yes, charges are justified.

You can use WhatsApp for free to call.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
