Changed my tariff can’t start it yet

I was on the £10 monthly tariff but I realised I needed more data so I switched to the £20 tariff and it said it would renew 7th Feb. I’ve run out of data from my old tariff and tried to renew my new £20 tariff early but it keeps telling me it’s an invalid action. I have no data left, can’t I start my new tariff now?

You could take a one-of Snacking Data bolt-on, single-use, to tide you over until renewal happens, @Aprillia - https://www.o2.co.uk/help/pay-as-you-go/bolt-ons
