Solved: Calling from outside the EU zone

Hi everyone. I'm in Turkey at the mo and obviously have an 02 English SIM. I pay the £10 per month rolling plan. I really need to call UK but found there standard roaming charges are extortionate (£2 a min). Does anyone know of a cheaper way to call from Turkey to a UK landline? Many thanks

That is it, I am afraid, and those charges are down in part to the costs imposed by the local networks.. The only other way is to see if the other person has WhatsApp other than that not really...

If WhatsApp isn't an option you can get cheaper international call rates by buying credit and using Skype.
