Back to O2

So I’ve ordered a sim. It says if you register for my O2 you get £5 and you get £10 for texting free to 21500.

Can you do both? And if so in which order.
And do you have to top up with a voucher the first time? (still?)

— I’m already registered with O2 for forum purposes, so I guess that bums me out of the £5, or can I just register the sim with another email address to claim it.

Cheers ears!

The saga rolls on. remind me why I changed again?

O2 have taken a direct debit today which i'm miffed about as they said I wouldn't have to cough up for months due to the credit that was dragged over from my PAYG account..

In short, the credit (£20) that was on the PAYG has not been moved across to the PM sim.

Well that's a lie.. The £5 of credit that I coughed up for has moved across, & the £2.50 from the forum has been moved across (thanks O2 community) but the £15 supposedly donated by O2 for joining (£10) & the £5 for signing up to O2 haven't.

O2 CS are saying that they always take 1 month from a direct debit & then will credit me back the rest in months 2 & 3.. and yet they can't see any record of the £15 of credit promised to me.. but have credited the £7.50 to my account but haven't bothered to use it.

Which is all well & good but my money is sat in their account making interest while my account is £5 down not earning interest. Add to that that PM are saying they can't see any £15 because thats PAYG accounts department but PAYG can't help because the account is closed.

So then you forum geniuses. Where do I start?

It's amazing isn't it, these big companies will say anything to get a sale/upgrade.
