Hello @Anonymous welcome back to our forum! Have you had any progress with this since yesterday?

Thanks guys for your suggestions @Anonymous, @Cleoriff@MI5 - I've queried with O2 on the process for this and will post back when we hear more about it, just to make sure we have the correct info here on the forum in case anything has changed. :smiling:

Update:

Once the mobiles have been linked in My O2, they cannot be unlinked. On the 'Bring in Products' section of My O2 it says "Bringing in your products is not reversible, and you'll no longer be able to access your other My O2 account."

The user of the account could setup a new connection, but it's advisable to do that when the contract has come to an end / is up for renewal (otherwise there might be termination fees), and migrate the number across to create a new username and password.

Hi @Anonymous does it give you the option of removing his details? I know another user who has contracts under one account @MI5 who will hopefully be online to assist in the morning

Hi @Anonymous The only way to do this is by contacting O2 Customer services and explaining the issue

https://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

If there is a problem you may want to read the last post in this thread. A similar issue which was resolved by a complaint https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Pay-Monthly-and-Pay-Go/DO-NOT-LINK-YOUR-O2-ACCOUNTS/m-p/642699#M65500

That action may not be necessary nowadays though. Best of luck...

I don’t believe it’s possible for 1st line customer service to do it still now so you may have to escalate it anyway.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.
