I have a now massive issue with you sending someone else's post to my address. This person is a previous tenant who hasn't lived here for over 5 years. She now owes money and I am receiving 2 letters for her on a weekly basis. I have called you twice, contacted you on Facebook and have been sending the letters back marked 'return to sender' since March but nothing is working. From all the letters we have been receiving, you are the only company to not be paying attention. What do we have to do to stop the mail coming to my address??

@Katehawkins

We are going through the same process, with some debt collectors and finance companies who keep sending post to our address for someone who moved out god knows when.. and have been sending the post back every week.

What we found is the best way is to not just mark the post as Return to Sender, but to mark it in the following may "which we found out by talking to our lovely postman"

Mark the post as:
"Return to Sender, Not known at this address"
Scribble out the address on the Window Pane (leave it on the Letter) and post it back in the post box.

We also contacted the companies involved and told them that the person doesn't live here, it took many attempts for it to be removed (still hasn't) as they call it contact tracing. We where also told that without a reference number or account number it was impossible to update the account, but they would try.

Good Luck and hopefully Lisa may be able to help...
