Receiving and sending texts, phone calls and signal

Hello, is anyone having trouble with sending and receiving texts, as well as problems with phone Calls? I've found most of my text messages won't send until the 3rd go and I'm often not receiving messages at all or until hours after they were sent. Also been struggling with calls that are failing and people not being able to get through to me. I've noticed my signal has been patchy too, I'm in the Braintree/Great Leighs area of Chelmsford, essex. Thanks

Occasionally turning the phone off , clean the SIM card and battery pull (phone model dependant) and turn the phone back on clears lots of glitches.

A known remedy is to have your SIM card swapped out at an O2 shop if the masts are showing as good.

 I have been having the same trouble as Kudos. texts to send dont go thru , so have to resend. everyone sounds like they are underwater ,and i end up using my landline .I am not a happy bunny . its been near on a week now. In Chigwell Essex. Never had this problem before

I've been turning my iPhone on and off at least once a day: haven't tried cleaning my SIM card yet so will give it a try. Chloecliff I have the same trouble, and that's often when a call goes through. I get call failed many timed before it goes through. Will definitely try and look and see if there are any mast problems.

Habing trouble sending and receiving texts all afternoon.  Also sporadic problems receiving calls.  Sometimes they get through other times they don't.   In Bolton, Lancashire. 

 

Tried all the usual stuff - cleaning the SIM, etc. No luck
