I upgraded on Friday 18th and that morning I received an email offering me £150 off my next upgrade but I hadn’t seen the email and I’m curious if anyone knows if O2 would honour this post upgrade?

No they wouldn't honour it post current upgrade @Ryan1985- 

If the promo states NEXT upgrade, that's exactly what they mean I'm afraid.
