I recently went to Gran Canaria. I have O2 travel included in my monthly contract, but while I was there I was unable to get an internet connection. This was the message I got. 'Could not activate mobile data network - you are not subscribed to a mobile data service'
I could send and receive texts ok and get my emails ok, but no data. My phone is an iphone7 running IOS10. Interestingly, my son was with me and he has the same phone and is also on a monthly contract with O2 and his phone connected to the internet with no problem at all. We compared our phone settings and they were identical, so it's very puzzling. Any suggestions as to the cause of this will be gratefully received. Thanks.
