I was offered £176 for my s7 Edge. Then they received it and said £17.50 because its software locked apparently. All I did was factory reset it before I packaged it to send it. I've told them to give my phone back! Bloody scammers!

If you didn't remove your Google account first it will have tripped the factory reset protection which means it needs your Google login to be usable again.
Once you get it back, enter your Google login details then remove your Google account once the phone boots up. You can then reset it again.

They will use anything as an excuse to seriously lower the original offer. Favourites are a cracked screen or water damage. Take it to CEX where you will get a more better deal

Once you get it back make sure it isn't damaged mysteriously in transit and make sure its the same phone you sent them. I would also advise against sending it back to them, use CEX instead.
