O2 appear to be launching an Anti-Virus and Anti-Theft app for Android phones in the first instance.
There seems to be a 30 day trial period, after which the price seems to vary between £0.50 for each part of the app up to £1.50 for O2 customers and it appears that you can choose whether to have both parts or just one.
For non-O2 customers it seems to be between £1 and £2 a month.
Charges will be made by premium rate sms to your phone each month.
There will also be a secure online control panel to set the options.
It's not available for download right now but will be available from Google Play.

Seems a bit expensive to me, how much is AVG these days?
I might check out the free trial to see what it's like.

I've been using the free version of Avast for around 3 months with no noticeable problems but I haven't heard anything bad about AVG.

10 mins to put my gladrags on then out for a couple of hours. Problem is, you get sick of drinking noon and night.....must adapt and learn to pace myself
...by the way it's not the cool of the evening...it's 9pm and still 29 degrees:smileywink:
