O2 Perks - VIP lounge access

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,

I'd like to visit the VIP lounge at the O2 Arena. I've visited the O2 Perks section of Prioriy moments and found this:

What? Kick back in the VIP O2 lounge, with two-for-one cocktails and a free cloakroom.

How? Text UPGRADE with the size of your party to 60202. Coming with three  friends? Text UPGRADE4. Subject to availability.

When do I send the text? I'm going to the Muse gig on Saturday. I've tried texting but (understandably) it means nothing as I haven't specified the event I'm attending. The response I got was '02: Please check the keyword and try again. We don't recognise the service you are trying to request'.

So what exactly do I need to do to access the lounge?

Thanks to anyone who can help!!

I would take a guess and say it is probably only available on the day subject to availability.

It's a bit short on information though isn't it?

Thanks Perksie. I see on Twitter that some people have already 'booked' lounge access so I'm keen to found out how.

And yes, I agree completely, the perk lacks a bit of clarity and info.  I just want to know how I can actually use this perk, if anyone has used it, or is it all PR?

I texted the day before and I was given a code that I was to produce at the door when handing my tickets over to be checked.

It doesn't cost any extra I believe may be worth txting the number now just to make sure the procedure hasn't changed:)

edit just reread your op ill try and find out a bit more info for you:)

I can't find info on it on priority moments now:(

There is mention of showing your O2 phone to the o2angels and they'll give you access on the day.

Phone 202 see if they can provide defininative advice 😞 sorry

Thanks Liquid. I'm amazed that this 'perk' is so unclear! It'll be great if someone can provide a real guide as how to get it. Thanks again.

I think that would be a good addition to the site. Appears that information is well out of date:(

This appears to be the latest page on google:/

I must admit I haven't been since the first time:(

I've asked if O2 can change the page to make it clearer.:smileyhappy:
