I have never needed to login to this device in the 12 months I've owned it. However I'm in Spain and the device will not connect to an alternative network until I login. I can get into my O2 account but it is not the same as the hot spot. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if unlocked and trying to add a new apn you need to login to the device as per the info in link above as it will still have the o2 manager installed
