Today I have used .4 gb of data. My Wi-Fi is on. How has this data usage occurred?

The only way is that your wifi dropped out or phone lost connection to it.

Turn off mobile data when using wifi to stop this happening.

Data doesn't always get recorded in real time

However your wifi may have dropped out for a period

Have you been streaming or gaming as 4GB is a lot to use in such a short time interval

Think it's 0.4GB there is a decimal point but no leading zero

Still a lot in the time interval 

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Is it 400Mb or 4Gb?


You can also find out from your phone what has used the data, by going into the Settings...

it’s .4gb. 
no streaming. But apparently it’s used since last bill. Not just today so panic over. Thanks for your help anyway.
