Data Roaming

Anonymous
Not applicable

I don't know a lot about mobile phones so please bear with me, basically my O2 mobile signal is rubbish at home and I saw an article on the TV this morning about data roaming and how it connects to other networks if my network is poor.

My question is would this incur any charges if used in the UK as I know that Orange is much stronger at my home and hopefully my phone could connect to it.

Roaming is for when you are abroad only. If you want an Orange signal in the UK you will need an Orange Sim card......

If you havewifi at home you could give Tugo a try, depending on what phone you have.... http://www.o2.co.uk/tugo/want-it

Hi,

Check your Service status to see if your masts are working as they should.

http://status.o2.co.uk/

Try cleaning your sim card.

Try switching to 2G.

With the roll out of 4G and mast sharing with Vodaphone 2g and 3g should improve over the next couple of years.

If your on payg then you could move Network to Orange and take your number with you via a PAC Code.

If your a business customer you could talk to o2 about a boostbox.
