Hi, can someone please help me. Is there anyone who is able escalate my email to the credit referrals team.

Upon applying for my mortgage, it came to light that there had been missed payment for a 4G pocket hotspot which I was unaware of. The missed payment was of £1.36 but 3 months in a row. I have never missed a payment in my life.

this is really affecting my chances of getting a mortgage and my partner has sold his house and we have found a house we love for our family. We have an 8 month old daughter.

I have paid an outstanding debit straight away when I became aware of it. I emailed the credit file referrals team, however I have not heard back from them and I won’t be able to proceed with my mortgage application if I do not get this sorted ASAP. My score went from being in the 800’s to 400 and I am at my wits end! If this house falls through we will not have a home and will have to move in with family which really will not work for many reasons. I require urgent assistance and any help would be gratefully appreciated.

@JMC1231 We are all customers here, and have no access to anyone's account or information that you would need. As you've already emailed the Credit File Referrals Team there isn't much else you can do except wait for their reply. All I can suggest is that you reach out to O2 through their social media outlets. Maybe someone there can offer more than the sympathy we feel for your situation. Here are the links:

Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

@JMC1231

Credit scores are a made up number designed to sell the customer more services.

The mortgage company will look at your credit file, and for £1.36 it seems a bit odd, however if these were missed payments then o2 wont remove the information from your credit file, as they have a duty to report information correctly.

Paying it doesn't mean it will be removed.

Also note it can take upto 90 days for your credit file to be updated to settled.

I would speak to the Mortgage Company and get their advice, as it seems a bit excessive for £1.36

Thank you for replying to me. It is very odd for such a low amount but because there was 5 missed payments in a row for this amount my score dropped significantly. I have Experian and from looking at that, the only negative showing is the missed payments. So stressed about the whole situation and just don’t know where I stand as o2 just won’t get back to me. I have even tried ringing them and they just keep giving me the email address for credit file referrals and telling me to email them. This has been going on from the 13th October.
