I ordered an iPad a week ago and have received all of the legal document emails and one saying it’s “full steam ahead on their end” and should wait for more updates, when I ask on the live chat I’m told I’ve been sent for credit check but I’ve been told on here that all the emails I got meant I’d passed the credit check. I’m an existing o2 customer and never missed a payment in over a year, would that help with the credit check? And does anyone know if I may still be in the credit check process or if it could just be out of stock?

It's much better to speak to n adviser rather than live chat

I still think it's a stock issue

You need to call O2.

All numbers are in this guide

You can use Skype from your PC to call the free numbers if you have no phone available

Advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:

When you call, you will be asked for the reason you are calling,

Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.

Press 2 for Everything Else

Press 5 for More Options

Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to an advisor.

Press Upgrade, Lost/Stolen or Fraud if you have to.

8am is the best time to call

The upfront cost was returned to my account, does that mean the credit check was failed?

There have been no changes on my o2, it’s still stuck on “order confirmed” and I haven’t been contacted, I received all the right documents, I’m super confused

It means the order has been cancelled for some reason or other.

Only O2 can tell you exactly why.

It’s a bit ridiculous, I haven’t been contacted or had any kind of update since I was told my order had been placed, I was told I’d passed the credit check and was waiting for dispatch, then I was told I was still in credit check, had absolutely no emails saying my credit check needed more info or anything, I check all the links and it says “it’s being reviewed, can take up to 24 hours” and it’s been on that for a week, and now I’ve had my money given back with absolutely no explanation, I’m so confused
