Hi I want this account closed and the sim deactivated as I have a new O2 no. How do I do it?

You can Link your accounts so when you log into your My02 you can access both accounts within it. Be aware once linked they then cannot be unlinked.

Hi

If your on Payg then the sim de activates after 6 months of not using it or topping up within 999 days.

O2 won't delete the account for audit purposes which I've learnt on here.

What about changing the number on my online account to the new no. I have? I wanted to do that but can't.
