Hi, if the messaging centre doesn’t work, and if, when it did O2 wouldn’t talk to you regarding cancelling the contract - do you just stop paying?

@Jonbwright If you just stop paying it will affect your credit rating. If that happens, you wouldn't even be able to get a contract with another mobile network. O2 are ruthless when it comes to non-payments. They have put markers on people's credit files for owing less than £10, and some of those haven't been able to get their mortgages because of it. Plenty of instances of that if you search the community. It's in your best interest to cancel using the proper channels.
