Calls from various numbers that may be pretending to be 02??

Hi, I have received calls from these numbers in the last 2 weeks....02031233321...02031146687....07644856524.....

They all show up as Potential Fraud so I always decline them.  I have googled them( as you do) and they do moslty show up as scam numbers, but some people have reported them as being from O2, or at least someone saying they are from O2.   Does anyone know if this might be genuine and I'm declining legitimate calls?  Sense tells me they're not genuine.

I get many from 0203 numbers which are definitely spam.

O2 also never contact you from mobile numbers so they are also most likely to be spam.

You can use an app such as TrueCaller which will tell you if others have reported the numbers calling you as spam before you answer.

@Lisa345 My rule of thumb is if I don't recognise the number, I don't answer the call. If the call is important and legitimate, whoever is calling will leave a message. If there's no voicemail, I block the number.

sorry for late reply.I was already convinced they were spam so I declined them and have now blocked them. Like you say if they were genuine they would leave a message. I've blocked all 3 now anyway. No dount I'll have have 3 by next week!
