When I call someone who does have my number stored it comes up a name who is not my name.

I've looked up lots of settings on my phone (huawei p30 lite) but everything is saved under my own name.

I don't want to put my ID as withheld but I can't find a way to stop this.

@LochyMacleod

Android uses a lookup table to try to predict who is calling.

If you have a previously allocated number, the database may have the old users details and hence the wrong caller ID is shown.

A company called Hiya maintain a huge databaseof numbers so worth checking with them what details are connected to your number https://www.hiya.com/solutions/businesses

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
