Hi.
I have a Huawei P20 Pro and over the last few weeks my 4g has got really slow. If I switch to 2g/3g I get H+ and it's much faster, I switch back to 4g and it's back to being unusable.
Ive tried restarting, reset network settings, set a new APN and set default APN, changed preferred network, mobile data on and off and airplane mode on and off with no luck.
Speedtests also show a massive difference.
4g download speed 0.3mbps upload speed 0mbps
H+ download speed 9mbps upload speed 2mbps
Can anyone help?
Thanks

@Sacul It's either congestion due to too many subscibers or there is a fault with the 4g signal.

You can check here https://status.o2.co.uk and report the issue through the MyNetwork app https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/my-network

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Sorry I can't help, but I am experiencing this also. I'm in Nantgarw - South Wales, and running speed test on 4G I am consistently seeing speeds bewteen 2Mbps and 5Mbps, but when I switch over to 3G (H+) I get speeds of around 20Mbps.

I've been google-ing around and every web site I find to do with 4G speeds suggest that I should be getting download speeds upto 300Mbps. I can't get anywhere near this!

(Samsung Galaxy S9)

@Phillip you won't get 300mbps esp not on O2.

The fact that 3g is faster proves that the 4g band is congested in your area so until there is a network upgrade, you won't see any improvement I'm afraid.
