From next month the cost of calling a 118 number on O2 will be increased from £3 a minute to £5.

Calls to 118402 which is the O2 phone number service remain at £1 a minute.

What a bargain. I'm surprised there are enough mindless people using this service to keep it going. Or maybe not going off the massive price hike.

That's an outrageous increase. I'm proud to say that I have never once used it. It's always puzzled me that with the myriad ways there are to find a number for free that anyone would ever use a service like that anyway. Maybe increasing the charge to that amount will signal the end of useless services like that for good.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Let's hope so, they don't deserve to survive.

I have never called one since these numbers first appeared and never would.

Never used it and never will no matter how desperate I am. Only one person I know uses this service, let's hope he has now wised up.:smileywink:
