Hi
I try to use couple of the apps that are using phone number registered on the SIM card. As I have received a replacement SIM this MSISDN information is not registered on the SIM and I can't use these apps.
I have found few tips how this can be amended but non of them is working.
Can O2 fix this by an over-the-air fix using the "Send MSISDN to SIM" tool please?
I'm currently using HTC One X.
Many thanks
Tom

Hi
It's still not working. I spoke with O2 and I'm waiting for a new SIM. Maybe this help.

Hi
Thanks for the suggestions. However as mentioned earlier I checked some tricks:
1. I used my old Nokia phones: 6500 and 6100. "My numbers" option returns an error: My numbers list empty. There is no option to add/edit number.
2. I used my friend's iPhone 4 and again option Settings/Phone/My number is not editable. With his SIM I can edit his number.
3. I tried an app recommended on other forums form Google Play "My Phone number" but I can't install it as I don't have rooted phone.
So is there any other solution? Why O2 can't send an update to my SIM? Is this something that they can do in store at all?
Many thanks
Tom
