Hi folks,
Do any of you know if there's any way at all I could get my phone's alerts to repeat? In particular I'm talking about the alert for incoming SMS messages. It only sounds once, so if I happen not to hear it that time, it might be hours before I happen to look at the screen and see that I've got an unread SMS.
Every previous phone I've owned either did repeating alerts automatically, our could be configured to do so in the OS (or, in the case of my Palm OS phone, with a downloadable app).
It's such a fundamental feature I'm amazed Windows Phone doesn't support it out of the box. Can anyone help or advise?
Thanks,
Steve

Hi. Yes, it can be done using a downloadable app for Android phones. I've searched around for something similar for WP7 but there seems to be nothing. In fact, I've read somewhere that it cannot be done in WP7 or 8, because the OS doesn't provide the necessary interface.
Even so, I thought it would be worth asking you guys, just because reading "it can't be done" usually means some smart geek has done it!
