Hi There,

I have a Huawei E5573B MiFi device, purchased from a local o2 store. I have received the unlock code but can't find where to enter it.

In the admin interface I have no advanced system settings or unlock area (I've checked every menu option). Additionally when I inserted a non-o2 SIM, it didn't prompt me for an unlock code - it has just refused to connect.

Can anyone advise how/where I enter the unlock code to unlock this device? Thank you!

If its not got the menu option it will be unlocked already.

You will need to enter the APN manually for your new network, and clear the o2 settings, you may also need to reset the mifi.

Have you followed the instructions here:

Use these apn settings https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Android-Devices-Samsung-HTC-Sony/Connecting-Android-Phone-to-Data-Serv...

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
