I recently changed my devise using the switchup. The sales assistant at the Burnley branch was doing a very good job, then the manager came over and sent him on his lunch. She was rude and abrasive and forced me to take a spare sim card saying it wouldnt cost me anything. When i said i didnt need it she said well just put it in a drawer you might as well take it as it wont cost you anything. 3 weeks later I have now been presented with a bill and when i called O2 to discuss this they said they can terminate the contract but will cost me £52. Firstly I didnt enter into a contract for this, disnt sign anything and certainly wouldnt have taken the sim card if i was told there was a charge. This was sold to me under false pretences and i would like to make an offical complaint. Suposedly O2 complaints department are going to contact me. How can this be allowed to happen? How many other people has she done this to?

Regretfully, you have gone to complaint and their present turnaround time is about 8 weeks. If they don't resolve it they need to issue a deadlock letter and then you can go to the ombudsman.
@Dave-O2 for info
