Have bought Nokia Lumia530, requires a micro sim card which i have ordered, but how do i transfer my numbers off old sim to new. Do i get to keep my number? Please help asap.

Depending on what model of phone you are using now, you may be able to transfer contacts between phone and sim, and then look for a sim adaptor to transfer them from old phone onto new sim?
You could also try using something like Google to back up your contacts?

Add your Google account to old phone and sync your contacts.
Then add Google account to new phone and sync them back.
