They start making a beeline (?!) for the house this time of year, @Anonymous. I have had to eject a couple of humongous spiders in the last few days.
Great photo, ours are usually more bashful when you get close to them, especially with a wide-mouthed tumbler in hand to catch 'em!

The cat caught his first one a few days ago. humungous thing it was!
It was still crawling along the carpet minus three legs after Chester smacked it one
