Welcome to the Word Hunt Diamond - Game 68

The game is open to all members.

Each week, a grid of nine letters in a diamond will be posted.

The aim of the game is to find the target number of words [as in the source used for the game] using only the letters in the grid.

This week`s "diamond" is as follows:

This week`s target is 77 words - using only the letters in the diamond - including TWO 9-letter words.

The rules:

Each word must contain four letters or more and must include the red letter U.

No proper names are allowed.

Scottish words and American spellings are allowed.

Each letter in the grid can only be used once in each word [for example, FULL isn`t allowed]

Of course, words do not have to start with the red letter U

Only one word per post.

Please wait until someone else has posted before posting again.

I will endeavour to give regular updates on each page [so as to avoid scrolling back] of the words found and the number of words still to be found.

Loads of words towards the end which all sounded as if they could be correct.  So many variations of the same word too which all went towards making it a good game.

Well done all who took part and even @Cleoriff stayed out of her sick bed to see the finish (who I hope feels better soon)

I had to break off in the middle for a while, but got a few more at lunchtime 👍

Pleased you enjoyed the game.

I realise that for various reasons sometimes players have to leave the game and come back later, so try to allow for that with the target number of words to find and the mix of known words and obscure words in the list.

It seems that today`s game was that and, once again, a quite well known word went undiscovered until the end, which hopefully added to the fun.
