@TallTrees wrote:Ah what is So BRILLIANT about this quiz is @Mi-Amigo
I know who Bob Dylan is
I know where Beachy Head is
I know who the Boomtown Rats are
I am truly Blessed 🙄
As you know who Bob Dylan is; know where Beachy Head is; and know who The Boomtown Rats are; this might mean you might know the answers to those - and maybe the other ? - questions...
Look forward to pm with your answers, later.

This is one of my "knowns" @jonsie
1690 is celebrated in Ireland (actually) Battle of the Boyne
As far as my distant memory of 1690 battles recalls the English were defeated at Beachy Head or thereabouts 🙄 ignominiously losing many ships as well as allied ships and the Commander (or whatever he was called then ~ title titles again) was sacked or as genteel persons would put it
"relieved of his command" old boy 😲
You know what history is like ~ who wrote it is very important ~ perhaps the English forgot they lost the battle 😂
It was a long war.
You are right @jonsie
in my humble opinion....! Fortunately we do not need to "come to blows" over the issue as the
question is who was the Partner in War.
Edited to add ~
Fortunately I know little of Medieval Wars
So there will be "little" conflict here with @Mi-Amigo 's Scholarly books ~
because I do not know the Answer! 😆
