Think we're having bad weather? This is tonight's forecast for the Northeastern US.

11degC. Dry. No dew. Going to have to put the light on to shower in the mornings now, too grey and dull to see if you are squeezing a dollop of shower gel or a palmful of conditioner out of the bottle you've picked up... 🤔

Good Morning @pgn

Where you live you do seem to experience extremes of weather ... ?

Usually the extreme end of whatever gets to us from the other side of the Atlantic - usually well-saturated with water after blowing across that expanse of ocean 🌧

Dull, cloudy, wet. 14c. According to the weather forecast last night, the weekend in Warwickshire is meant to be in the high 20's. 😂

Well the journey to work was interesting!

Got mot of the way here and then entered a massive bank of fog for 10 minutes on the A14! And then work itself is sunny and blue sky again.

Well the weather certainly screws up a lot of things, from 28degC down to 10degC - spent yesterday sniffling, sneezing and swilling down the odd panadol or anadin... and in my headache-bound fugue, awoke last night at 1am to the sound of torrential rain, which went on for quite a while! I was determined to fall asleep without further analgesia despite the headache, awaking at 06:30 feeling a little better, and a hot shower infused with mentholated shower gel fumes has helped. It's about 10degC and the sun is forcing rainbows up into the sky. And S#2 turns 14 today, and tenpin bowling is on the cards - kill or cure, eh? I blame S#2 anyway, he was sniffling and sneezing on Tuesday - the first school-induced lurgy of the season. 🤧😳
