I read a research article about 8 years ago where a study was conducted on patients after kidney transplant, trying them on a new procedure to avoid immuno suppressant drugs such as Prednisolone.

It involved infusing donor bone marrow cells into transplant recipients.

I guess the cost of this was prohibitive as nothing further was published, althouth the 8 patients who underwent the trial did very well. (though who knows now?)

Mostly clear blue sky with a little bit of mist atop Rombalds Moor

Snapped some pix along the canal towpath and some others from my outside door featuring light 'serried' cloud formation

Very cold so togged up in Russian gear

Hard frost overnight = made new tarmacced towpath slippery in places ... but ... did not stop me getting to Herriots to meet up with a friend
