Clear blue skies and sunshine all day. No rain, no snow and no wind. 

Very cold. Minus 1 degree celsius at 8.00am, hovered about 2 or 3 degrees celsius for most of the day and 1 degrees celsius at the time of writing. A sharp frost expected overnight.

Looking at the all-Ireland map for Thursday, the only bit not yellow or orange is Co. Fermanagh...

Bright sunshine, minus 1degC.  Roads not too bad at 07:40, apart from the odd idiot driving without due care and consideration for road conditions and accelerating up behind you pulling out sharply to overtake, or hogging the space behind slower cars doing 50mph...
