Rather like the cold weather - wrapping up warm and cosy, and getting all snug under the big duvet in bed!

If I could afford air conditioning I would ... just suffer stifling heat during the night = not much sleep.

Blue skies, sunshine and far too hot ; 27 degrees celsius at 2.00pm.

Aaaaaannnnnddddd summer has gone! 16c today. Dull and humid.

Have been very grateful the last couple of nights for the air cooler we got from Lidl a couple of years ago!

Yesterday remained warm into the evening, and was unpleasant upstairs (apart from in the line of the fan!)

This morning is cooler but still feels "heavy". Rain is apparently due at the end of the weekend - got to get the shed sorted before then!

Thursday :-

Cooler to start with, overcast and it actually rained just about 11.00am. 

After lunch, normal Summer service was resumed with blue skies, sunshine and far too hot ; 26 degrees celsius at 2.00pm. The one relief was a bit more breeze than earlier in the week.

A spell of rain freshened up everything with a light breeze. Should sleep tonight 15c
