Well done, everyone.

Congratulation to @pgn for getting most right - including that stinker question on Prime Ministers.

I`m well pleased to have got 10 right and a Gold Thinker.

To be honest, I knew the sports one - not because it was football but having read, ages ago, a biography of Arthur Conan Doyle and was piece of useless information I remembered.

I was also lucky, and had slight advantage with two questions - I went to Shakespeare`s school and a teacher called me "zany" and said it was a word coined by Shakespeare, which is something I`ve never forgotten; and I wrote a book on transplants so knew it was Barnard at Groot Schuur Hospital, Cape Town, S Africa.

A brilliant quiz @Cleoriff which certain got me thinking about a load of the questions - eve though some of my answers were mad guesses [blooming geography and blooming PM]

And thanks for the great job in compiling the results and giving the reward bouquet

To be fair @Mi-Amigo  I thought the Shakespeare one was hard, considering the Bard made up 1700 new words. I put zany in as I thought that would catch people out. It seems a modern word.

@pgnwould have got 12 correct apart from the fact he 'submitted three answers for the nature question. (Kangaroo, Peregrine falcon and Ostrich) I asked him to choose one. He chose Ostrich!.

The Duke of Wellington question came from Ray. He insisted I left the word soldier out as that 'would have made it too easy' rofl

What I've Learned @Anonymous  is to leave this to @Mi-Amigo  in future rofl

Setting the questions is easy. Sorting out the answers for 10 people and adding stars and thinkers is not.

Even when you have worked them out and stored in One Note you are restricted as you have to add stuff when you paste it over to forum. Ah well.

Tricky ways such as Shakespeare, Peregrine Falcon and Wellington are attributed to my other half @gmarkj  So he is the one to blame rofl

The Duke of Wellington one is a question you have to know the answer to. If you google it, it doesn't come up.

Had I put soldier who was knighted 26 times, that would have helped everyone.

Got that info from here Honours Duke of Wellington

Scroll down to honours. rofl
