Unless you have been in a news free zone for 24 hrs it wont have gone unnoticed that Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson has been suspended...

Allegedly he punched a producer....

Sundays episode has been shelved along with the remaining two in the Top Gear series..

Clarksons suspension has led to a massive petition for his reinstatement.

Personally, I wonder why so many want him back? Surely this massively popular show can survive without him? (Stands back ready to be panned for that comment Fear)

Maybe this 'hero worship' of Clarkson is a 'man thing'? (apologies if that appears sexist Rolleys)

I don't particularly like him. I think he arrogantly believes he is invincible....Drum

No doubt they will put Sabine Schimtz in the Clio. Star in a family car and all that jazz...

If honest I don't do 'clever' parking. Before I shopped online for groceries I would make sure I was one of the first into the supermarket with a choice of parking spaces. First time I ever parallel parked was when I took my test. My driving instructor was convinced I would only have to do 2 out of 3 manoeuvres. Three point turn and reversing into a side street. My test chap was a pedantic fool and made me do all three. I parallel parked like a professional surprising every one including myself. Never parked as well before....or after. LOL

She can certainly drive, but I think it's this video of her on the same circuit but in a Ford Transit van, that shows why she's going to be really popular with Top Gear fans. For anyone who hasn't seen it, she bet Jeremy Clarkson that she would beat his fastest lap, which he'd completed in a Jaguar S type.

I've read one report that filming hasn't gone too well so far though, because Chris Evans suffers from car sickness. He was just a passenger in a car, driven by Sabine Schmitz wink
