I also remember listening to Kenny Everett playing Bohemian Rhapsody for the first time on the radio and thinking "what is this? - wow, it`s brilliant". Then, of course, Kenny being Kenny played it again and again, and each time it came on I was like "YES thumbsup". Only Kenny would have dared to do it.

I'm sure it was all done in the best possible taste....though some might call him a "Cupid St*nt"

So many of our generation left us too soon. Kenny was brilliant and you were almost wetting yourself watching.

Oh how true your words are @jonsie and the list, unfortunately, keeps growing.

Sadly, too true.

I well remember his send up of Rod Stewart "Do You Think I`m Sexy" with inflating trousers. Had me crying with laughter.

For anyone who is interested (like me)... a new series of The Supervet started tonight on Ch4.

I've said it before and will repeat myself again. I just wish we had orthopaedic surgeons with such innovative ideas as Noel Fitzpatrick. What he does for animals is nothing short of miraculous.

He has tried to liaise with specialists in human orthopaedics with little success. That's a bit of a tragedy really.
