@RunrigForever

Lovely to see cubs (any cubs) venturing out of the den for the first time.

https://www.facebook.com/reel/1072165941460985

Particularly when you think the parents are lions rescued from a zoo in Ukraine

They have been checked for inbreeding as the parents are a mother and her son.

Been given a clean bill of health.

I'm not a fan of Dr Who, but Sherlock was my favourite for years. Mark played Sherlocks elder brother Mycroft. It was the first time I saw Benedict Cumberbatch (the highly functioning sociopath) and loved it when he went to his 'Mind Palace'.

There was a plan for a film but they couldn't get Benedict, Mark, Martin Freeman (Dr Watson) and Andrew Scott (Moriarty) together for long enough. So I Just watch the repeats as often as I can. 😂

Yes, also some disagreement between Freeman and Cumberbatch, I think, made any more series unlikely.

Stephen Fry plays Mycroft in the film that stars Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law, with Jared Harris as the baddie. Fry, another seriously funny man. The score and music in both Cumberbatch and Downey Jr versions is also really good. No Mind Palace in the Downey Jr versions though.

@pgn

I heard about this so called disagreement which they have both vehemently denied.

Both Martin and Benedict said they really wanted to do a film but it would take too long with stuff they were already contracted to do. Didn't Benedict join the Marvel franchise as Dr Strange?

Freeman also appears in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Everett Ross in Captain America: Civil War and the two Black Panther films.  Cumberbatch, on the other hand, has about 6 movies under his belt in the MCU, at least two of which has him as the main star.
