I think the Archbishop of Canterbury has upset a lot of people with his speech of 'forgiveness' re Prince Andrew. As one said, 'he seemed to ignore the untold hurt and damage done to the young victims'.

Last night I watched the Queens Platinum Jubilee Concert. Just brilliant. The Queen, who never fails to amaze us, did a 3 minute skit with Paddington Bear and marmalade sandwiches. There's a full video of it on Twitter but nothing on You tube sadly. Obviously the only band to open the show were Queen which they did in superb fashion. The whole concert was quite wonderful. Buckingham Police was a backdrop for a great light show and we had drones doing quite a magical light show of their own. The Mall was packed.

Saw the Paddington skit on Twitter, very funny - recognised Simon Farnaby as the butler, wonder if Ben Whishaw did Paddington's voice ... 🤔

Considering her age, I think it was better than the James Bond skit for the 2012 Olympics.
Shows the Queen has a sense of humour (and is musical) 😂

Yes there are 4 video's on You Tube, showing it from the Marmalade sandwich bit but nothing apart from the first one on Twitter which shows the whole thing... (which is a shame because the Queens face when Paddington drank all the tea, then nearly dropped the teapot is a real hoot. 😂)

About 18 months ago I had tree surgeons in to remove 2 leylandii trees which had taken over the corner of my garden. It was much lighter once they were removed. This year, suddenly that corner has turned itself into a wonderful cottage garden with no help from us. I have poppies, lupins, delphiniums and antirrhinums. Quite lovely 😁
