As is usual, I'm waiting for the Asda delivery. Lovely day for it,  as it's pouring. rolling_eyes

Asda are getting worse with their home delivery goods available.

I notice from amending my order at 9pm last night and nothing out of stock, the order receipt shows 6 substitutions have been made!

I gave Sainsburys online a try last week and everything I ordered was in stock. Some things were slightly more expensive than Asda, others were cheaper so it evened itself out really.

Might be time for a change....Thinking

To be honest @pgn I've always preferred Sainsburys. My other half doesn't, claiming they are far too expensive.

Just to prove a point (and showing my level of boredom) rofl I created a list last week of our usual weekly shop. I think Asda won by 3p.

With Asda though, the deliveries come from the big superstore in Walsgrave 8 miles away and slots are 2 hrly. Sainsburys are from our local town store and they offer hourly slots.

Swings and roundabouts as they say. smiling

I'm a fan of Tesco... my orders come from a huge extra store and rare they don't have everything I order. The efficiency is fantastic..1 hour slot always there. Now giving time update day of delivery. Pick is wonderful fresh.
Substitution if I agree on list and well done. Nothing stupid. My neighbour who buys from Waitrose is always asking me to get her items on my Tesco order because they are short or don't offer them and Waitrose very early or very late always complaining.
