The maddest show on TV returns on Sat 01 Jan 2022!!

Yes, the Masked Singer is back on ITV for the third series tonight at 7pm, with second show tomorrow.

The show features 12 celebrities in disguise and a panel [and we the viewers] tries to work out  from the performances and clues who is behind the mask.

This year`s Masked Singers are:

Comedian and presenter, Joel Dommett is back as host of the show.

The panel for series 3, returning to judge, are Jonathan Ross; Rita Ora, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan.

Does Digital spy give you the songs? Really pushed me yesterday. Good job Ray (the DJ) was sat next to me last night. Although I knew the songs I posted, Ray is one of those people who can 'Name That Tune in 1 note' 😂

Except the one sang by Firework. He just said 'He doesn't do modern stuff' (well his disco was called Timewarp, so you get the gist)

Revealing Spoiler now as too bad if folk haven't watched it. It was Heather Small from M People. She has a great distinctive voice and made reference to the fact she had to try and change it for the show.

Pretty gutted she's gone if honest. I thought the worse of the night was Doughnut.

so, if done for each show would be useful.

I think there was a caption [maybe subtitles ?] when each performance started last night with song/singer.

I`ll check that out tonight and DigitalSpy and hopefully will be able to give info in write-up after the show.

I was surprised Chandalier got voted off last night. Wasn`t the worse performance in my opinion.

Pleased Robobunny and Mushroom still in it.

If you look at the time they posted it was ten past 8. Then you have to rely on the same person posting that list. Not going to be very confident of that source each time it's on.

Interesting though that he has Chandelier scoring higher than Doughnut.

I was following Masked Singer twitter feed last night and although it was good, they never mentioned one song. So that will give me difficulties.

The caption you mention only said the name not the song. Silly really. If its the Masked SINGER we should have the song given.

I liked performances by Traffic Cone; Poodle [my favourite of the night]; and Bagpipes.

Didn`t guess Snow Leopard was Gloria Hunniford; think Poodle might be Paul O`Grady; head scratching over a couple of others...

A lot of clues pointing to a footballer or football pundit.  Can't sing that's for sure

Maybe Chris Kamara or Michael Owen (although I doubt Michael would do this.

Robobunny Sang Shallow From A Star Is Born.

Sang Ok but not a singer.

The vote for the final two and they were

 Firework and Lionfish. (who keeps putting Doughnut through??!!)

Firework sang Your sex is on Fire It was Excellent.

Lionfish (No idea of song) Certainly not as good as Firework

Lionfish was eliminated. WHAT A SHOCK (For me) when the mask came off!!

WILL YOUNG (who I love. Voted for him in Pop Idol etc) All I can say is he sang well when the mask came off!

I was surprised Donuts was not in the bottom two. Of the two who had to do the sing-off, I thought Firework was better than Lionfish, that said I was shocked when Lionfish`s identity was revealed.

As to the other celebrities, I think Donut is Chris Kamara [football clues], but still confused as to who others might be. Pleased Mushroom and Robobunny still in it - after last night`s performance.
